Your Punta Cana wedding nails guide
June 10, 2026 · 4 min read

A Punta Cana wedding is a dream: beach, sun and photos that last forever. But that same climate — heat, humidity and sand — means your nails deserve a little strategy.
Pick a comfortable shape and length
For a destination wedding we recommend almond or rounded shapes at a medium length: elegant in photos, and easy to hug, dance and hold your bouquet.
Shades that always work
- Nude and milky pinks: timeless, and they pair with any dress.
- Classic or micro French: clean and sophisticated.
- A gold or chrome accent if you want a touch of shine.
Book ahead
Ideally a trial a few weeks before, and the final appointment 1 to 2 days before the wedding, so you arrive fresh and unhurried.
Care for the afterglow
Chlorine, sea water and sunscreen wear down the shine. Carry cuticle oil and avoid using your nails as tools. Staying for the honeymoon? An extra top-coat layer helps them last intact.
